Synthetic Tranny Lube?

The T'llete  became very hard to shift (BW T19)in and out of second on the way home from the Nationals.  First it was a hot day and a lot of 70mph driving, then we got stuck in a major construction area which I used 2nd almost exclusively.

The fluid level turned out to be ok.

And now it's fine again.  So I think there may be some roughness on the mainshaft surface, and if things get warm enough the syncro ring or something swells enough to start binding.  But it's just a guess.

Due to the use patterns of the truck, I thought I might just band-aid it with some synthetic fluid.

Does anybody have any recommendations- and info on where to get it?
