Kudos for Mr. Thebert's Tech Seminars

As far as the "program content" of the Nationals was concerned, I enjoyed
Bill Thebert's Tech Seminars very much. His ability to articulate vehicle
concepts such as suspensions, engines, etc. into laymans terms and concepts
was excellent. <<I finally understand "bump-steer" and what causes it.><

Frankly, Bill, if there were ever going to be a TV show called "This Old
Scout" or "4x4 Improvement", you would make an ideal host.

Finally, after several years of working on vehciles, etc. --other than the
internals of the transmission-- (be it either manual *or* automatic), I
think I can say that when I go down the road now, I have a good idea of how
just about every part moves dynamically in it's operation in the Scout.
Obviously this does not apply to newer vehicles with more sophisticated
mechanicals or electricals. This is also the essence of one of the many
things I enjoy about the "Scout Crowd" and that is a basic understanding
(and appreciation) of a vehicles workings and the engineering that went
into it.
