Steel specifications

Does anybody have access to steel load specs?  That is, if I was building a deck I could take the span and find out from a table if I should use a 2x6, 2x8, etc.  I need the equivalent for angle iron.

This is IH related because I want to build a gooseneck hitch for the WM.
