Dan: I really don't know what you've got there. I looked at the back of the passenger side head on my '76 304 and didn't see any kind of sender. I know that the temperture sender is mounted on the thermostat housing and the oil pressure sender is mounted way down, low on the driver's side of the block. Sorry, Tom H.
