Re: RE white smoke
A puff of white smoke at startup could easily be the engine burning off
the oil which leaks down the valve stems after the engine is shutoff.
BTW the IHC valve stem seaks are designed to leak a bit. Mine does it
after installing new seals. I opted for the original IH style seals and
not the umbrella style which will stop the leaking but the IH engineers
wanted that stem seal to leak a bit, you can tell by looking at the seal.
