Amazing! Pertronix and Tach Now Works

After Darrell Kline mentioned the MSD Blaster coil only has 0.7 Ohms of
resistance, I went out to the truck and reconnected my 0.8 Ohm ballast
resistor to protect my Pertronix Ignitor. I fired up the engine and decided
to try something.

Before, without the ballast resistor, my old analog Craftsman hand held tach /
dwell meter would not work correctly with the Pertronix Ignitor. It was
giving an erroneous dwell and a very low rpm. After hooking up the ballast
resistor, it works perfectly again!

And I hate to be this way... but I *swear* it started better and idled
smoother after connecting the ballast resistor.

I suppose the extra current being supplied to the Ignitor module was somehow
overwhelming it.

Thanks again Darrell.
