RE: Choosing the Right Mufflers

Hi all,

Well, I got my new exhaust installed Saturday.  I went with 2-1/4" pipe
and turbo mufflers.  It cost me $250 for the custom bent pipes and
mufflers and $30 for the H-pipe.  With tax it came to $295.  I'm really
surprised at how quiet the thing is now.  I'm thinking I shoulda went
with glasspacks, but being quiet has its advantages.  It's really tight
for the right pipe around the transfer case.  He really had to make some
wierd bends to get around.  I'm quite happy with it, and it's got a
lifetime warranty for as long as I own the vehicle.  Thanks to all who
responded to my earlier questions about which way to go with this.  See
