Fleck,
   I have a stretchy strap that I was using. The problem with the pull
wasn't the strap snaped the guard off, it was the torque of my 345/auto
with trak-lok rear pulling on the truck. I think that sucker would have
come off with a rubber band pulling on it with all the torque I was
putting out.
