I'd say it's almost a toss-up which day to choose.  There are quite a few
vehicles that don't show on Sunday if they have a  ways to go, but there
are also a lot that don't appear until Sat. or even Sun. morning. so
either way you miss some. Fri. night has the big parade;Sun. afternoon
has the awards.  If you're coming for serious parts shopping, probably
Friday is better as the rare parts and the bargains go quickly.  Also if
your schedule is flexible, you can plan on Fri. and then change to Sun.
if the weather turns out bad on Fri.
