P.H.D. in Rust
Hi all Harvesters, I read somewhere that as a Scout owner you would earn a
P.H.D. in rust. Well, I guess my education has begun. I recently hit a
deer with my 80 Terra. When I took the fender off to pound on it a little,
I discovered that the fender it is rusted pretty bad in the area behind the
front wheel. It has not rusted clear through. My question to everyone is,
can that be sprayed or treated with something to keep it from coming on
through or now that the process has begun am I going to have to plan on
repair panels. Also can the ledge behind the fender that catches all the
leaves, dirt, etc. be modified with a deflector or some such to keep it from
catching stuff. Anyone done that?
Enjoyed meeting some of you at RMIHR. To those I didn't meet, I had the
blue 68 Travelall parked by the vendor building on Sun. My first binder
show, sure won't be my last.
Kurt.
