clutch questions or what trans do i have?

i just installed a clutch and pressure plate and throw out bearing in
my 73 ihc roll back (1210).

the replacement pressure plate was a three lever release, while the
orginal had a mulity lever diaphram. the new throw out bearing was
longer, but fit in correctly.

problem is, that now the pedal doesn't release the clutch even when all
the way to the floor.

the trans has a lever (not adjustable) that when lifted up releases the
clutch.
to the trans lever are two bars that are pinned side by side, they go
up and are connected to a tab with the second pin. these two bars are
about 5" long.
it looks like if i remove the bars and drill a new pin hole at about 3
1/2 " i should be in range.

has any body else run into this?

the trans is a 4sp, top loaded (shift lever goes into top of trans) and
has PTO on the drivers side, and the truck has a 345 gas engine.

do i have a t-18?
is there any source for linkage?
thanks for any insights,
mike a
