Idle Problem

Bill,
Regarding your idle problem; this may sound strange, but I've seen 3 IH
engines that have had clogged intake manifolds that cause the same symptoms
you are experiencing. Check to make sure you are getting vacuum at the EGR
valve. If there is no vacuum, the intake may be clogged under the valve.
You can loosen the carbon clog with a screw driver, fire up the engine and
blow it out.\
