  Some of the later model Scouts have the connector on the driver side
firewall. It is more of a square shape located between the fender and
the steering column.   According to the manual this is where it is
located on 79's and 80's, but my 78 has it there too.
  I also have a round shaped connector mounted up high on the pass. side
firewall for the rear harness and main feed.
