Return of the Son of "more big 6 bolt wheels"

     I was perusing the Scouts West web site last night, and in the
photo 
     gallery there were several very nice examples of 60's era pickups
with 
     the infamous big 6 bolt pattern.  In fact, I believe that one or
two 
     of the trucks had aluminum wheels!  But most of the rest had one
piece 
     steel wheels.  It was late, and I forgot to write down who owned
these 
     fine old trucks (several travelette's too!).  If anyone with Scouts

     West is around, some of us would really appreciate getting in touch

     with these truck owners and hearing how the solved their big 6 bolt

     split rim dilemma.
     
     Jim, thanks for the update on the old Dodges and big Chevy's.  I
plan 
     on doing some salvage yard snooping.  If I come across any
additional 
     alternatives, I'll be a decent guy and post my findings.
