4-speed tranny on 196???

Howdy-

I've got a '69 800A that I have recently rebuilt.  I did everything, in fact,
except the transmission.  This is a three speed (T-90 maybe?) with a transfer
case on it.  It is in terrible shape, and I'm wondering if it would be
possible to bolt up a 4 speed to my 196, and if I can still use my existing
transfer case.  Anyone have any info??
