	Just got a 4 bbl square bore intake, the holes for the carb look
kinda 
<small.  Is it possible/necessary to open these up?

Get the square bore intake working with a good carb and you will
probably be happy.   If you want to go to fuel injection don't bother
with the 4 barrel.  Sell the intake and carb and find a 2 barrel intake.
Have it bored to match the projection 2-barrel setup with closed loop
feedback.  The two barrel with fuel injection is plenty for the IH
motor.
