Anyone have a clue where I could dig up the density of snow, wet/dry,
un-packed (and maybe loose packed)

   shop around in "research and education" you will find such          illuminating papers as "Porespace characterization of wet snow in the pendular regime" by Jim Frankenfield. Not that the formulas will help you but you may find something or someone to help.
