That's good news Dan.

I guess I spoke too soon earlier.  When driving my Traveler over to a
friend's house tonight, I noticed that my voltage reading didn't drop
below much less than 12 volts under the highest load conditions even when
all accessories were on.

I was just going to suggest that you see how the voltage gauge was wired
in your Scout.  Something sure isn't right with it... especially since
your multimeter indicated normal test voltages.
