Electric HUGE trucks...



        Be careful what you wish for.  In HS a friend's, friend's mom
worked out at the copper mines.  She was backing up, and backed *right* over a 
ch@^y pickup.  Clean over the top and flattend the thing.  Luckily there was 
nobody in it, but wow, I guess a 2 ton truck isn't much of an obstacle for a 240
ton Dump.

 Just a fact I remembered:

 Electric motors can put out a lot more
torque and offer a bit more braking control too which is important when
your driving a 240 ton haul truck ( you could run over a row of chevys and
not even notice, especially since the operator/drivers cab is almost three
stories in the air)
