Re: Exhaust chirp

Ken,

My chirping almost sounds like pinging but not quite. Is that the same
for you?

I have a 345 currently with Tquad in need of overhaul. I have the close
ratio gearbox, 3.07 gears, and 237/75 x 15 tires. Works out to abou5t
2300 rpm at the 65 mph I was traveling. I was making a point of keeping
my foot out of the carb, too. This is critical with the Tquad.

Oh yeah, I was using Mobil premium and had the timing static advance set
to 15 deg BTDC, no pings at all. I was pretty pleased with 16.4
considering the state of the carb.

If I find out what the part number of the plugs is is I will post it.
