holes in rubber.

Many thanks for all the suggestions,but the holes have to go in the 1/4
vent rubber.This is about 1" thick and the holes have to be about 1/4"
in diameter.I may try the freezing trick mentioned....
I have already used hole punches to put holes in the seals I had to make
which go under the floor and transmission cover panels,etc.
