L-120 starter

Many thanks to all the great advice on starters.  I took it apart
today and foud a small nut bouncing around the commutator and brushes. 
I am going to have the commutator turned and put it back together.  The
starter apears to be new.  It is way to clean to be 48 years old, the
engine was rebuilt 8 years(1500 miles) ago, I guess the starter was
rebuilt as well.
