  My roll bar attaches to the floor BEHIND the wheel wells. I replaced
several of the bolts (both front and rear) with eye bolts for tie downs.
Works out great!
 I also replace the top bolts with eye bolts when I pull the top in the
summer and leave a cargo net ($4.00 on clearance at K-mart) on all the
time. It looks good (same color as the truck, blue) and keeps things
from blowing out.
