Something that looks like a .50BMG caliber machine gun, mounted on a
motorized turret on the roof and controlled via a joystick in the cab,
should instill the desired level of respect.  Maybe wire the fire button
into one of those little electronic noisemaker boxes with a machine gun
sound for added realism.  That way their pants should end up wet whether
you hit them or not.  For those of us here in Oregon where self service
gas is illegal, it could be also quite useful in case of inattentive gas
station attendants.  Might also be marketable as a deterrent to
carjacking, but something in 9mm or .40 might be more practical for
that. :)
