Re: Dean's hoodlatch, and mine!
I get some 3M penetrant and douche down the cable where it goes into the sheath
up by the hood latch. I also spray around on the inside of the cab. Spray
everything.
When done, I do the latch up with anti-sieze (the silver messy stuff!)
One word about the 3M penetrant. It is AWESOME stuff. Better than liquid
wrench, ATF, Diesel, Slick 50's spray lubricant, Marvel Mystery Oil, ect.
The stuff is SLICK. It needs to be shook before using, and has some kind of
graphite mixed into the fluid.
