Spark Plugs Too dumb to believe

On the too dumb to believe list, last week I looked at the spark plugs I
removed from the 345 a month or so ago at the beginning of the
distributor saga, (more on that in another post). I noticed that the
threads on one of the plugs were badly rearranged, as in "some damn fool
cross-threaded this". In 40 years (this number is getting really
out of hand) of working on engines I guess I had to do it once.

Yesterday, I inspected the plug holes with a small inspection mirror and
magnet. No visible damage and no filings came out. All 8 new plugs
started easily and went in with fingers only.

There is a God!
