Re: Step by step shock replacement guide --cabrio addendum



On my '87 325ic, the upper shock mounts are accessed through the convertible
top boot. There's no need to remove the trunk lining or even go into the
trunk when changing shocks on an E30 cabriolet. One of the best benefits of
driving a ragtop...:-)

Look for a couple rectangular rubber plugs in the floor of the boot, Leo.
The upper mounts are under them.
