Yeah rrriiighhtttt....

I remember when they released the Z3 with the 1.9 liter four,
they claimed they had no plans to put a 6 cylinder into it.
I also remember reading one of the early reviews of the Z3
in Road & Car & Track & Driver or some such mag where they
said something to the effect of "There's plenty of room in
the engine bay to fit a 6 cylinder."

The Z4 chassis is much improved relative to the Z3 and will
be much more capable of managing the excessive power of the
///M engine.  Do folks really believe they'll resist such a
no-brainer and simply let Porsche and Mercedes out-gun them
in the roadster market?

Anyone want to make a bet?
