I'll take the last part first. I really like AANCO blades. I've
found them to perform well (not much streaking) and they tend to hold
up. So far I've been very unimpressed with the Bosch, as the
slightest dirt seems to cause a tremendous amount of streaking.
Winter blades are really nice if you live in snow country. They have
a robber boot encasing the blade, and this help prevent snow and ice
from sticking and reducing effectiveness. As the blade moves, the
rubber boot flexes, and the snow/ice drops off. Not much use,
though, south of the Mason-Dixon line.
A problem with snow blades is that they are more likely to lift and
chatter at high speed than regular blades. So I don't know what
you're supposed to do if you're driving at very high speed in the
snow. =8-O
