I need to replace the oil pan gasket on my 87 325i that has 126k miles. Should I also replace the oil pump since I have to drop the pan? Also I ordered the pan gasket which is cork, from my dealer. Are there other materials that are better? If I use the cork should I use a gasket seal? Which type? Thanx Ken Hillers BMWCCA #2270 ------------------------------
