I could see that since I got the same into the trunk of my E28
on a side note, I did get 8 full sheets of 1/2 in drywall onto the roof of
my E28 with the help of a Yakima roof rack.  And the car didnt behave like
it was overloaded either.  Surprised the hell out of me.

I also once moved a 3 seat couch in my 73 911 Targa that I have since sold
and replaced witht he 911s coupe. Mind you it was a tubular frame couch with
a sling and soft cushions that dismantled. But you should have seen the look
on the face of my friends dad, when I proved him wrong :)

this has gotta be a joke, right? i can't fit a single sheet of 4x8
plywood into my E34 Touring. i can fit 2x4's, but only 8 footers, and
only if they come up between the front seats on the center console.

what am i doing wrong?
