E34 525i Draining Power.

My E34 525i (M20) seems to have sprung an electrical leak, when the car
is left unused for 2 - 3 days, the battery goes dead. So obviously there
is some component that is either left on or there is an electical leak
somewhere in the car. I checked all obvious items like boot light, glovebox
light, etc and all are fine.

I did notice however that even when the engine is off, the ICV (Idle Control
Valve) in the engine compartment is still having a slight buzzing sound
indicating there is still current going through it. When I unplug the cable
that connects into the ICV, the electrical buzzing stops so there is definately
current going through it. Now my question is, is this ICV suppose to be
buzzing the way it does (i.e being on) when the engine is off?. I assumed
that when the engine is off, there should be no electrical current going
through any of the components within the engine bay.

If the ICV is not suppose to be on, anyone know how do I turn the darn
thing off. Is there somekind of relay or something for it?. Appreciate
any feedback. TIA.

Eugene
