95 740i in stone chip hell- the only solution & a question

Thanks to all who responded to my query about fixing my paint chips. A few
have suggested that their repaints of the hood ended up looking really bad
with stone chips after a year or so again, so I've decided to do something I
DON'T want to do... fix them one by one, a little at a time, with the BMW
paint chip filler 2 part kit for clearcoated Aspen Silver 740i's. What a
drag - I was hoping I could get out of this drudgery task.

What I still need to know is how to attack the rust filled paint chips on
the hood? There are only a few. Do I just get a bit of sandpaper on them?
And how do I actually do this, as I don't want to sand more than the actual
chip, if you know what I mean!!! Is there a tool to get the sand paper JUST
in the paint chip or a good method?

Thanks alot-
Steve
