Tyler,
My changer was about seven years old when I worked on it a couple of years
ago. The unit did not require any lube or cleaning. Unfortunately, I didn't
take any pictures at the time and don't know of any web pages w/documentation
on the procedure.
My only background in electronics was when I performed part-time computer
repair for a local computer store when I was in college. I'm sure your
background is much greater than mine. The unit was not particularly
complicated and has worked well since.
If you're not having any problem w/the unit, I'd let it be. As long as you
keep the cartridge door closed, it is pretty well sealed against dust and the
elements and probably doesn't need any service.
