It is in a lot of BMWs, for whatever reason.

The 5-speed in my '92 535i takes ATF and has a bright
orange sticker on it stating such.

If you have the original owner's manual, put whatever
it specifies into your P.S. system.  If you don't have
the owner's manual, then hope that someone here can
help you.

What year and model BMW do you have?
