torque plate

Does anyone know of a machine shop near Virginia that has a torque plate for 
a small six,2.5 liter, or maybe I could rent one from someone?? I want to 
bore out my motor for rebuild,already have oversize pistons.Anyone have 
experience with boring out this motor without torque plate,negative 
experiences??Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Tom
