'79 633 CSI

I have a 633 as above with a 4 speed trans.
I want to install a 5 speed but need to know what other BMWs use a 
compatable 5 speed.
I have been offered 5 speeds taken from 325 cars but I am not sure if this 
would fit or work. In my area,633s are scarce as hens teeth both on the 
road and in the recycle yard,so I need to look at other cars
Any advice on this project would be greatly appreciated.
