Before getting too excited about doing the head  job to last a
decade......

I would suggest measuring the cylinder bore in #6 for out of
roundness.....or oval.

This is a common problem on the #6 cylinder and sometimes all the
cylinders on the ETA blocks.

In any case, if it's out of round........out of spec, the block is on it
way
to junk or rebore. The blocks were weak where the engine attaches to the
trans. The problem was never fixed in production.
