E30 check lights.

My 87 E30 325 still has fully operable check lights.   It's my daily driver 
and has been for 11 years.  The oil level sensor is very accurate - it goes 
on right when the dipstick would read at the low mark.   Yes, I will fix 
that camshaft seal at the next timing belt change.

The only problem I ever had with the check lights was caused by a 
mis-positioned lead (hit moving parts and wore through) for the brake 
lining wear sensor.
