Michael,

FYI on the custom intake.  I have successfully done plastic or wood carved
models and used these to make sand castings.  You may want to talk to a local
tool & die shop.  They can probably put you on to someone who can do the
sandcasting (do not try this at home) and the heat-treatment (likely will be
necessary).  Cheers!
