Roof rack for '92 325i?

I'm looking for a roof rack to carry two or three bikes on my 3 series.
Notice some bracket mountings underneath the gasket and guess BMW sells
a special rack.

Since it's a '92 and I love saving all the money I can, thought I'd ask
if anyone knows of a source for a used roof rack?  Also, I hate to keep
things like that on permanently.  Is it a pain to get on and off?
