3-2-1 are sport shifting modes.

You probably have an early 4HP24 EH trans......(electronic-hydraulic valve body)

Sounds like the solenoids in the valve body are fouled up.......This is not
driver repairable.

Translation : you need a *competently* rebuilt and updated  unit.

ZF makes the best rebuilts ......
