Re: E36 coupe - Thud from the rear - update



Sound like a rear bushing to me.  You've checked everything else I believe.  Mine
does the same thing over bumps.  I have a different rear suspension setup than
yours, so I can't comment directly.  Jack up your rear and inspect all the rubber
bushing suspension parts.
