[E36] Memory Seats Retrofit

About my only complaint with my E36 coupe is the lack of memory seats.
I drive the car about 99% of the time, but occasionally my wife, who is
vertically challenged (in her words), takes it and then it seems that it
takes me a week to fidget the seat back to a comfortable position.

Were memory seats available at all on E36 coupes or sedans at any time
in its production run?

Has anyone done or considered retrofitting this capability?  I would bet
that if it were possible, the entire seat would have to be swapped, as
opposed to modifying the existing seat.
