RE: Gear Lever/Shifter knob replacement on E28

On my 535 e28, its pressed on, mine just pulled right off.
Of course my leather was already torn, so I didn't need to be gentle.
The new one popped on appreciably firmer and I tugged an it would not come
off as easy as the old one, so yours could be really tight.
But if its like mine its not threaded, no set screw, its just a pressed on
fitting.
