My '91 325 iC's rack seals are shot and I am looking for advice.

quote for reman rack is $800 w/ labor. I can by rebuilt rack for
$350. I
also hear there is a rebuild kit available. Does anyone have a source
for
it and a price.
How difficult is it to replace the rack? How difficult is the
rebuild?
Does the rebuild kit come with instructions?
The most difficult jobs I have done on my car is new water pump and
replace brake pads.
