relays for 1988 528e

Had some gauges dancing -- and couple of split-second engine cut-offs --
rolling along those seams between concerete slabs on NJ's Rte. 280.

Problem was loose wires on bottom side of fuel pump relay, but here's my q...

Are there only three relays, each on the passenger side of the fuse box?
Which relay govern whats? My Chilton's manual's of no help here.
