<E30> Leather in convertible

Hello,

I have a 1991 325ic and it has the same problem that all convertibles have.
The back seat leather starts to come apart at the seams do the drying in the
sun.  Is it possible to moisturize the leather enough to resew those seams?
I will only have to resew around 3" on each of 4 seams that have come apart.
