Will need engine for '90 535i this fall...

My lower end (rods and mains) are slowing dying,
following a water pump failure last year.  Although
the engine will make it thru the summer, by winter
I'll likely need to replace it.

Does anyone have info on CHEAP sources for a short
block, or know where I could get a used 535i to take
my time preparing over the summer?
