I just replaced the one on my 325is a couple of days ago.  Really simple.
Take a thin screwdriver and pry the old one off, but use a doubled up rag or
a piece of hard plastic to protect the paint as you pry.  It pops off and
usually leaves the rubber grommets in the holes in the hood.  You can buy
new grommets or probably reuse the old ones.  Then just pop the new badge in
place and you're good to go.
